Thank you, GMU men's basketball team.
UPDATE: The Chicago Tribune has an article today focused on the university, the first I've seen that names George Mason's two Nobel Prize-winning economists. :)
UPDATE: Pete Boettke and Alex Tabarrok have gotten a piece published at Slate about the "entrepreneurial" similarity between GMU's hoops recruiting and economics-department hiring.
UPDATE: Features on the GMU economics department have appeared in the Washington Post and Philadelphia Inquirer.
LAST UPDATE: And the ultimate pop-culture acknowledgement: The Onion!

are the externalities of a sport team winning? We will see. Hopefully

before (is it odd to hope that acedemic sucess will come from this?).
This is a concern I expressed before to Jason: what is the P(Micro will be
cancelled next Monday)? I would suspect, not very good, considering the
prof (who will remain nameless).
I have identified the shiny object for the week, and
