Defense may get slashed for pork. In response I can only reiterate what I have stated before:
Defense spending often is pork (or at the very least, as wasteful as any other category). Furthermore, it seems a little absurd to label spending for a war of choice that has been going on for over three (or is it fifteen?) years as "emergency" spending, whatever your viewpoint on the justness of the cause.
